Bill Curry

US Army  | 12 Years of Service

Bill is a 12-year veteran of the U.S. Army. He served as Platoon Leader and Executive Officer in Cavalry Squadrons in the U.S. and Korea; Company Commander, Adjutant/S-1 in two tank battalions in Germany. During his assignment with the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) he developed detailed conceptual designs for future military organizations and their application.


He was employed by Lockheed Martin for 29-years as a Technical Writer and Maintenance Engineer, responsible for the development of maintenance and modification documentation for the Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) and the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS). He invests in his community as a Boy Scout assistant scout master receiving the Order of the Arrow for his support and commitment. He has been serving as a Certified

Volunteer Chaplain’s Assistant (CVCA) with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) in two prisons. He sponsors veteran support programs in the prisons which focus on preparing veterans to reenter society. He received the 2018 TDCJ Governor’s Award for most innovative program.


He was a Police Department Chaplain for 6-years and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9299 serving in several positions including post commander.
